Thirty aspiring players in the age group of six to nine learned the basics of game under three certified coaches at the ‘Discover Tennis with Aspire’ training camp, organised by the Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) from October 2 to November 25.
The camp reiterated the AZF’s commitment to promote physical activity among the public.
AZF Head of Events Lolwa Al Marri, who gave away the certificates, said, “The best measure of this camp is how engaged and positive the children have been. Having their parents support them by attending their sessions made the experience even more enjoyable,” said Al Marri.
Meanwhile, 14 competitors will fight for honours at the Fourth Qatar’s Strongest Man challenge, to be held at the Aspire Zone on Friday.
