The world champions capped their unbeaten run in the final with a 21-9 rout of formidable Philippines in front of a packed crowd.
Meanwhile, talented Yee Tong Heng helped Malaysia beat Japan 21-14 in the third-place play-off.
Ten teams — Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Philippines, Qatar, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka and Vietnam — vied for honours in the tournament.
