Doha: The Qatar Football Association announced a 27-member Qatar Under-19 squad for the upcoming friendly matches in preparation for the 2018 AFC Championship qualifiers to be held in Doha from November 4 to 8. Qatar will play three friendlies on October 18, 21 and 28 against Iran, Uzbekistan, and India.
Qatar are in Group C of the qualifiers where they take on Lebanon and Iraq. Afghanistan, the fourth team in the group, withdrew from the competition.
The finals of the tournament will be held in Indonesia October 18 to November 4, 2018.
