Monaco: AS Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim said that Kylian Mbappe is likely to return in their side’s showdown with Olympique Marseille on Sunday.
"If the match were happening today he would be in. Everyone has trained well and are in good condition, but all going well he should be there,” said Jardim.
The French international, scorer of 15 goals on last season's run to the title, started the 3-2 win over Toulouse on the opening day, but was left on the bench for the duration of the 4-1 victory in Dijon.
He was then dropped in his team’s 1-0 win at Metz.
"He’s more capable of helping the team than two weeks ago. I would be crazy to deprive myself of the best players and take the less good ones with me,” added Jardim.
Mbappe has been strongly linked with a transfer away from the principality before the window closes next week.
