India are a disciplined side, says Qatar coach Felix

Doha: Qatar U23 coach Felix Sanchez said that his next target will be to play better against India and win on Friday and then think about the last match against Syria.

“We’ll take one game at a time. India are a disciplined side and let us put our mind on our next game. We don’t want to think about Syria now,” Sanchez said.

Qatar, who defeated Turkmenistan 2-0 on Wednesday, will hope to win against their opponents and then take on Syria in their last group match on Sunday.

“We didn’t play well against Turkmenistan. The boys need to settle down a bit. We need to work better,” he added.

Akram Afif will be the one to look forward after the former Sevilla and Villareal forwarded scored both the goals against the Central Asians.

The Indian back-line will have to add more muscles and confidence if they want to stop this former ASPIRE Academy graduate.

In a nutshell, the hosts will look forward to a win with a bigger margin which should put them ahead of Syria as only one group winners qualify for the main tournament in China next year.
