Dubai: QNB Stars League leaders Al Duhail came back strongly after conceding an early goal to defeat UAE's Al Wahda in an AFC Champions League Group B match at Sheikh Zayed Sports City Stadium at Abu Dhabi on Monday.
Duhail were down by a goal as early as the fourth minute after Sultan Al Brake fouled Mourad Batna inside the area and Sebastián Tagliabúe emphatically converted from the spot, but Duhail had too much of firepower for their opponents as a Youssef El Arabi double which came on either side of a Karim Boudiaf goal ensured them all three points.
Duhail, who had beaten Iran's Zob Ahan 3-1 in their first match, lead the group with six points.
Zob Ahan defeated Lokomotiv Tashkent 2-0 for their first victory. Lokomotiv and Zob Ahan both are three points while Wahda are yet to open their account.
