THE Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) and France’s national Institute of Sport Expertise and Performance (INSEP), a centre for excellence that trains elite athletes, signed a Memorandum of Understanding last week.
As part of the deal, AZF and INSEP will facilitate opportunities for all those involved in elite-level athlete and sports management to improve their knowledge and skill-sets through internships, conferences as well as participation in training camps and collaborative research initiatives.
Aspire Logistics Director General Abdullah Nasser Al Naimi and INSEP CEO Ghani Ylaouz signed the deal. French Ambassador to Qatar Eric Chevallier, Aspire Logistics PR and Communications Director Nasser Abdullah Al Hajri and INSEP Director Particia Delesque were present on the occasion.
“We’re very pleased to collaborate with a center of excellence like INSEP as partnership is a key approach in our way to excellence. This is a big step for the AZF as we constantly look for new ways to extend our reach regionally and internationally,” said Al Nami.
Ylaouz said, “INSEP is broadening its international horizons in order to enrich the knowledge and share experiences with best centres from across the world whose efforts are shaping the sports of tomorrow.”
