BAYERN Munich wound up their winter camp in Doha with a 5-0 win over KAS Eupen in a friendly played at the Aspire ground on Tuesday.

Eighteen-year-old midfielder Fabian Benko netted a brace (49th and 83rd minute) while Mats Hummels (44th), Arturo Vidal (67th) and Douglas Costa (73rd) struck one apiece.

Hummels described the camp as a very productive one.

“The facilities are fantastic. It was a very good preparation for us. I had a great week. Almost the entire team could work very well on the pitch. We had all we needed. Maybe, the injury (thigh) to Thiago (Alcantara) is the only setback we had,” said Hummels, who rejoined Bayern from Borussia Dortmund this season.

Leaders Bayern will resume their Bundesliga campaign with a match against SC Freiburg on January 20.
