DOHA: Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi will lead a galaxy of stars for the T20 tie between World Stars and Qatar Stars to be played on December 16 at the Asian Town Cricket Stadium.
The event is organized by the PRO EVENTS in association with How Automobile Centre and Stepco Group, jointly with Ministry of Culture and Sports.
Ibn Ajayan Projects, the facility managers of Asian Town Cricket stadium also a supporting partner in the event.
Afridi will be joined by his compatriots Salman Butt, Abdul Razzaq, Sohaib Maqsood, Kamran Akmal, Umar Akmal, Mohammad Sami, Saeed Ajmal and Fawad Alam.
Other big names who are expected for the match include India's Yusuf Pathan, Mohammad Kaif, Bangladesh's Mohammad Ashraful, South Africa’s Herschelle Gibbs and Imran Tahir, West Indies' Jerome Taylor, England's Liam Plunkett, Sri Lanka’s Farveez Maharoof and Chaminda Vaas and Afghanistan’s Nawroz Mangal
