AFC signs deals with QP and QNB

unnamed (1)DOHA: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) signed three-year partnership agreements with both Qatar Petroleum and Qatar National Bank in two separate functions in Doha last week.

AFC President Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa signed the deals with Qatar’s Energy and Industry Minister HE Dr Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada and QNB Acting Group CEO Ali Ahmed Al Kuwari on Thursday.

Dr Al Sada said “the partnership with the AFC comes a few weeks after Qatar celebrated National Sports Day and amid intensive preparations to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup.”

“The agreement further emphasises the role Qatar plays in the world of sports under the guidance and support of the Emir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani,” he said.
